Stir Crazy Comedy Club's 3rd annual Funniest Person in the Universe comedy contest!
We are scouring the universe looking for the funniest person! The contest is open to everyone, comics and non-comics.
Submissions are open through Wednesday, September 4, 2024.
All entries will be reviewed and those that make it into the contest will be notified by Thursday, September 12, 2024.
There is no fee to enter.
How It Works
All submissions will be reviewed and considered.
To ensure fairness, of the qualifying submissions, 90 will be randomly selected to compete in the contest by a computer algorithm.
15 contestants will perform a 5 minute set in one of six preliminary rounds.
5 contestants will be chosen from each preliminary round to move on to perform a 5 minute set in one of two semi-finals.
5 contestants will be chosen from each of the semi-finals to perform a 8 minute set in the final.

Who Decides The Winner
Winners of each event (preliminaries, semi-finals, and final) will be determined by a 3 judge panel combined with the total audience vote.
One judge will be a professional comedian. One judge will be someone who works in the comedy industry. And the third judge will be a civilian with no connection to comedy.
