There's a rather large sporting event that will be at the State Farm Stadium this coming Sunday and Stir Crazy wants to do our part to help get the word out...

So we're throwing a kick off party!

We've got a great line up of some of our favorite comedians!

 

Thomas Eskin

Thomas Lee Eskin left his career in 2022 to fully commit to stand-up, and has been a traveling comedian ever since. A 2022 WSOC contestant, Funniest Person in the Universe Semi-Finalist, and showcased nationally in the year.

 

Brian Kohatsu

Brian spent 20 years as an award-winning director before stepping away from the camera for a career in comedy. He quickly found success in radio and gained national recognition when he was featured on Sirius/XM. Brian trained with several improv troupes, before transitioning to stand up. He now performs at various comedy clubs, casinos, churches and corporate events around the country. His unique style, appeal to all ages, and playful knowledge of pop culture have made him an audience favorite. A gifted performer, improviser and writer, Brian is perfect for any event.

 

Bubba McComb

Bubba McComb is a standup comedian, podcaster, and actor born an raised in Phoenix, Arizona. Bubba has performed all over AZ, including comedy clubs such as StandUp Live, Tempe Improv, House of Comedy and more. Working and podcasting with comedians including Ali Mackovsky, Steve Byrne, Brad Williams, Luis J Gomez and many others. He has also performed alongside some of the current most renown hip hop and EMD artists at music festivals such as "Gold Rush Music Festival," "June Jam," and "Pitch A Tent." Bubba was a Finalist in Phoenix New Times "Best Comedian In Phoenix," and most recently was a top 3 finalist in the "Funniest Comedian In the Universe" put on by Stir Crazy Comedy Club. He has acted and starred in the short film "Paradox Hotel" and has been involved in other film projects such as "The Justice System." A lifetime full of mostly unwavering sadness, Bubba found out that he can make people feel better through laughter. In turn making himself feel better. So the "Make Them Laugh" grind will never stop, as the pursuit of happiness is never ending. Bubba is currently doing comedy shows and hosting live events all over Arizona and neighboring states, and hosts the popular podcast the "Hella Tired Podcast”.

 

Jorge Ruiz

Originally from Glendale, Arizona, as a comic, Jorge Ruiz has the ability to excel in any environment. Jorge writes jokes that are relate able to just about everyone in the room. You quickly see this as he takes the stage. Jorge recently was a finalist in Arizona's Funniest Comedian contest and a finalist in the World Series of Comedy in Las Vegas.

 

Tara Shakespeare

Tara is a Phoenix based comediennes who laughs about juggling careers, children, dating and wine. Her Podcast, along with co-host Ashkey Rose, 'Not so Black and White' offers their viewers a chance to see life through the lense of a different ethnicity. While life isn't always funny, Tara and Ashley always manage to make awkward moments more palatable through laughter. This single moms duo enjoys tackling the hard topics with a Bottle of wine. After a year of success, Ashley and Tara have managed to bring their brand of funny back to the stage only this time they're adding more Comedians, Juicy Topics, Audience Participation and plenty of Wine!!

 

Don Steinmetz

Don Steinmetz is a Phoenix area stand up comedian, comedy writer, screenwriter, public speaker and sometime actor. As a sexagenarian (he loves using that word) his stand up comedy encompasses all the life experiences you only can get by getting old. Growing up in the 60s and 70s in the Midwest he went out on his own at 18 and moved to Arizona. After a couple of marriages, a career and 4 kids spread through the 80’s to the 2000’s he decided that he wanted to tell jokes to strangers. He is a retired law enforcement officer with 35 years of service who went on to become a volunteer firefighter for 5 more years.
