Actor, Improviser, Comedian, but most notably an accomplished Omnivore. J.R grew up in California's San Fernando Valley - Pacoima projects. J.R.'s life was nothing less than ordinary. After losing his mother at an early age and being raised by his grandparents, J.R was imprinted with an invaluable lesson, life is too short to do something that doesn't make you happy.
His comedy stems from his tough yet amazing childhood in one of the roughest places to grow up in the 90s. His life experiences and ,hard yet loving, family is the muse to most of his comedic material.
